Seed Money

Money grows (on) trees

We’ve talked before about how we love sneaky little bouts of guerilla gardening. What better way to jazz things up than planting a secret seed or ten at each and every opportunity? The nattier the gimmick, the more we’re sold – hence the sight of Seed Money has us going weak at the knees. These nuggets of goodness looks just like cold hard cash, but at their monetary heart is a cluster of seeds fit for brightening up the dreariest landscape.

The brainchild of creative studio Leafcutter Designs, Seed Money’s suggested uses include prettying-up a friend’s garden, leaving them within a restaurant tip and using them as party favours. We might swerve the one that suggests ‘playfully’ trying to pay for stuff with them. The shopkeepers round our way aren’t known for their playfulness.
