Pocket Garden

In the bag

When university students Wei Wei Wang, Ottonie von Schweinitz and Nils Brack noticed local school kids weren’t motivated to get down and dirty in gardening class they decided to do something about it. The solution? Pocket Garden – a super-simple tyvek bag that perfectly houses soil and seeds, and is so wonderfully-lightweight you can sling it over your shoulder and take it home as you please.

As well as being a hip accessory sure to start a new fashion trend, Pocket Garden also instills an important lesson from a very young age: take good care of your belongings. Being responsible for a bit of foliage sounds simple, right? Wrong. Coming from someone – a grown adult – who can’t keep a baby bonsai alive, green fingers are real world skills everyone should know.
