Party Wall

Hostess with the mostest

Need we say more than Party Wall? This billboard-like structure provides a tonne of shade – creating space to house guests for an array of events. Apart from its impressive size and pro-community vibe, this installation also took out MoMA’s prestigious Young Architects Program.

Designed by Caroline O’Donnell of CODA, the lower section sports over 100 panels, which are actually reclaimed skateboards you can pull out and sit on. And if that wasn’t cool enough, standing slyly under the structure is a series of pools. Yes, POOLS. It’s the ultimate summer hangout. Hollerrrr. Image courtesy: ArchDaily.
