Product designer David Steiner is repurposing objects he doesn’t have a use for and giving them a second life. Known as In House, his clever collection features lampshades, cutlery, bowls and more. Steiner has sourced the materials from his own home and also decided to use whitegoods and fixtures as his tools of trade.

While it’s hard to believe that things like doors can help create lampshades, you can watch Steiner in action to see for yourself. In House is the kind of project that gives us a good reason to stay inside and challenge ourselves.
