Cut a rug

Designer Linus Dean and his latest collaborative collection Co.lab88 is breathing new life into an age-old product: rugs. Using Himalayan wool and manpower, Dean’s been designing fresh floor pieces for the last few years and recently collaborated with a throng of great artists, including Lucas Grogan, KNARF and EKTA to name a few.

All of the Co.lab88 designs are handmade in Nepal and we love that Dean gives us a bit of insight into how the rugs are produced, as it’s truly interesting and something we just don’t see enough of. By promoting cross-collaboration and utilising a traditional technique, the Co.lab88 rugs are so much more than decorative items. We’d just be a bit hesitant to actually step on the gigantic woolly artwork, so can you please take your shoes off? Kthxbai.
