Inspired by his hardworking father and Scandinavian design, these notebooks are an ideal sidekick – made for wear and tear. Named after Italian scholar Ambrogio Calepino (who devoted his 76 years to a multilingual dictionary), it seems like every element of Calepino’s history and production is bound to inspire.

Being everything a notebook ought to be and then some, Calepinos are high in quality – made entirely on French soil using 100% recycled stock that’s cut and collated locally by a family business in Nantes, France. Imprinted with vegetable-based ink, each book is individually monitored for quality, and every case is folded and composed by hand. You’d think Calepino couldn’t get any greener, but think again!
